My love for photography comes from something deeply personal; wishing I had more photographs of my late grandmother. That realization inspired me to capture more moments with the people I love, and to help others do the same. Through In This World and The Next Photography, I want to give you photographs that become more meaningful with time, preserving the people you love and the memories you never want to lose.

In This world and the next

 

In This World and The Next began with my fiancée, Alanna, who created the acronym ITWATN after losing her brother. In her grief, she wanted something hopeful. those words became part of one of her signature poems, which she performs at local poetry nights, reaching hundreds of people across Rhode Island.


The meaning behind those words felt deeply connected to my love for my grandmother and the memories I hold close. I asked Alanna for her blessing to use the name for my photography business. It brings together our stories of loss, love and hope, and my desire to preserve memories of the people we carry with us, in this world and the next.
